Anna has performed and delivered workshops for hundreds of schools across the UK and beyond. Her repertoire of stories includes contemporary and traditional tales from across the world. Her performance style is dynamic and physical which engages her audience and inspires interaction. She uses props and music to animate her stories. It has been said, by many pupils, that Anna is “THE BEST” storyteller.

Anna’s stories enhance the curriculum with their colour and detail, and her workshops with pupils improve literacy and presentation skills. Anna also delivers INSET days for members of staff to help them improve their own storytelling techniques for use in the classroom, both to advance their own presentation and confidence skills, and also to be able to encourage the pupils to create and tell their own stories with success.

Anna works with teachers and pupils outside as well as in the classroom to create projects to develop the pupils’ engagement with the local community as well as improving their skills in key subjects such as literacy and history. One of her most successful initiatives have been the inter-generational projects bringing together and linking schools with local retirement homes through the art of storytelling.
